Hace un tiempo una clienta me sugirió un proyecto muy especial… una cartera en telar que fuera grande, cómoda, liviana, con divisiones internas y lo suficientemente maleable para poder poner todas las cosas que un bebé demanda. Menuda tarea! No soy madre y no tengo idea de cómo y qué? Pero ella me ayudo con sus sugerencias… eligió los colores y empecé con el trabajo… primero haciendo la tela del bolso, luego eligiendo cada uno de los materiales que lo acompañaría y además asegurándola para que resista peso pero que siga las consignas demandadas.
Finalmente y después de muchas horas de trabajo el bolso quedo listo y precioso! Use todo tipo de fibras para el exterior, algodón resistente para el interior, manija de algodón, tapa de gamuza y hebillas vintage pero lo más importante es que en el interior puse dos imanes enfrentados para cerrar tanto el bolsillo interno como el bolso en sí, y estos imanes están escondidos en el interior, con lo cual no se ven pero cumplen su función.
El bolso ya está viajando rumbo a Tokio y yo feliz! Ansío el momento de ver a su dueña disfrutándolo.
Ça fait un moment qu’une cliente m’avait suggéré un projet très spécial… un sac tissé de grande taille, confortable, légère, avec divisions a l’intérieur et assez manipulable pour pouvoir mettre toutes les choses qu’un bébé demande. Sacré de tache ! Je ne suis pas mère et n’ayant aucune idée de comment et pour quoi ? Heureusement elle m’a aidé avec ses indications… elle a aussi choisi les couleurs et avec ces éléments j’ai commencé à travailler… premièrement en faisant le tissu extérieur, après en choisissent les restes des matériaux et en plus le défi de faire un sac légère mais résistant.
Finalement et après de beaucoup d’heures de travail le sac était fini et superbe ! J’ai utilisé toute sorte de fibres pour l’extérieur, un coton résistant pour l’intérieur, sangle de coton, couverture de daim et boucles ceinture vintage, mais le plus importante est que dans la partie interne j’ai mis deux aimants face à face, qui ferment la poche central et le sac en soi, et ils sont cachés dans le tissu, de manière que ferment sans couper l’esthétique du sac.
Le sac est en train de voyager au Tokyo et moi : heureuse ! Je hâte de voir sa propriétaire en profiter…
It’s been a while since a client asked me to make something very special… a big hand-woven bag, comfortable, light with internal divisions and easy to fill it with baby stuff. Such a difficult task! I’m not a mother and I don’t have any idea of what is important, happily she helped me with their ideas… she also choose the colors and with these elements I started to work… first of all making the exterior and then choosing and assembling the rest of the parts trying keep the lightness and making it strong to accept the weight.
Finally and after lot of hours the bag was finished and super cute! I used all kind of fibers that match very well, a resistant cotton for the interior a cotton strap and a piece of suede for the details, it has also vintage buckles. But the most important design detail is I putted two magnets facing each other hidden in the internal part of the tissue to close the middle pocket as well as the bag itself.
The bag is travelling now to Tokyo and I’m so proud of it! I would love to see its owner enjoying it!
